Singer and songwriter, for more than 30 years she has been one of the most notable exponents of the “nueva trova”. Together with Pablo Milanés, Silvio Rodríguez, and Noel Nicola, she is an emblematic figure of an era starting in the 1960’s. She has received numerous decorations, among which we find the Félix Varela Order.
